Due to increased entries, the San Angelo Livestock Show has updated their schedule for the 2021 livestock show, affecting the TLA Lone Star Shoot-Out Show.
Wednesday, February 10 @ 6 PM: TJLA Member Meeting
Thursday, February 11: TLA Shoot-Out Show
The Shoot-Out show will be held thirty minutes after the conclusion of the junior heifer show in San Angelo. If the show runs late, exhibitors may leave their animals in the barn on Thursday night, but must be out by 10 am on Friday morning. During the show, the TLA will also announce and award the 2020 Heifer of the Year. The San Angelo livestock show has also been added to the TJLA Showmanship contest for 2021 and all heifers shown in the Shoot-Out show must also show in the San Angelo Junior Heifer show. The TLA will also award a $500 scholarship to the Limousin breed champion during the San Angelo junior heifer show. To be eligible for the scholarship, juniors must be members of the TJLA and their parents must be members of the TLA.
