What is the Cowtown Classic?
The Cowtown Classic is a cattle sale put on by the Texas Limousin Association, to help TLA members promote, market and sell their cattle. The Cowtown Classic is held in Fort Worth, during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and is on the Friday evening of the Open Limousin Show weekend. Fort Worth and the FWSS is a prestigious and great place for any cattleman or woman to market their cattle.
Consignments and pictures are due to the TLA or one of the sale committee chairs by December 1.

Lone Star Shoot-Out Heifers: Open heifer calves, halter broke and of show quality. Purebreds or Lim-Flex, 6 to 14 months of age.
Bred Females: Preferably bred heifers or cows less than 5 years of age, to calve in the spring or fall bred heifers (if safe in calf by sale day).
Cow/Calf Pairs: Cows 6 years of age or younger with live calf at side.
Bulls: Purebred or Lim-Flex bulls 12 to 14 months of age, with good EPD's. BW, WW, and YW must be recorded with NALF.
Frozen Embryos: Select embryos. Must be approved by the marketing team.
